Dempsey Europe’s environmental approach is grounded in strict compliance with French and European environmental regulations applicable to its activities. As a distributor of food ingredients, the company ensures that packaging, documentation processes, and

operational practices comply with regulatory requirements related to the AGEC law, extended producer responsibility for packaging, recyclability obligations, mandatory environmental markings, and other requirements applicable to companies placing packaging on the European market. Regulatory compliance is supported by documented controls, ongoing monitoring, and close collaboration with suppliers and service providers to ensure continuous conformity throughout the supply chain.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) – Packaging

In accordance with French regulations, Dempsey Europe is subject to Extended Producer Responsibility for household packaging. The company declares the packaging placed on the market and pays the required eco-contributions to approved eco-organisations, contributing to the financing of national packaging waste collection, sorting, and recycling

systems. This framework supports waste reduction objectives and reinforces compliance with France’s circular-economy requirements.
